I finally got climbing shoes! Can you see how excited I am? :D I named them Gloria (right) and Victoria (left) because according to Boyfriend, I name everything! I love my climbing shoes so much! Mostly because they are purple. (Just look at my room behind me on this picture! Everything in my bubble is purple!)
Also, this is how I look like after 3 hours-ish of climbing.
Went to the park with my dog today and decided to practice in the sun. The cold breeze made my practice amazing!
I like to call this pose “mini crow”
I made the most awesome smoothie in the world for me and my roomie. Tons of raspberries, strawberries and bananas. :D Delicious and healthy!
This is me and my best friend, Candace. One of my friend from the climbing gym invited me to her animal themed party. She was my co-tiger! :D I hanged out with a bunch of people from the gym and got to know some new ones. I also got thrown in the pool fully dressed so it was a pretty good night. :) Candace actually told me she wants to start climbing now. Yes!! I love converting people! :D
Oh yeah and I have to wear a wrist brace now. Poor wrist :(
For Anon :) I took this a week ago but it will do…
HELLO EVERYONEEEE!
The face I made when realizing how badly I fucked up, how lost I feel and how much I want to cry. Olexa wanted to make me feel better by jumping on my laps and then, she decided to get in the picture. <3 I hate being so unhappy when I have pretty much everything to be happy.
LOL at my face though!
This picture was taken in April at Joshua Tree during our camping/climbing trip. One of the best week of my life. :)
Med hates this picture but I like it so whatever. :D
Astavakrasana is by far my favorite pose.
I’ve been working on handstand scorpion for a few days now. I can now hold them for about 3 to 5 seconds, which makes me very excited. I’d like to be able to hold it for a longer time and obviously, get my feet closer to my head. I’ll work on it daily and I think i’ll post more pictures of this pose so you guys can see my progress.
Oh and I want to thank Johanna. I pretty much would not be able to do this if she didn’t show me how to get into the pose.
Toward the end, we kind of got tired from climbing so we ended up playing with handstands and stuff. Med did some very cool handstands. He held several ones for a long period of time, which was very impressive. I ended up realizing I can actually do a split although my back leg should be straighter. It’s crazy to think that a few months ago I was so far from the ground when I was doing it. Yoga is making me flexible. :)
You should click HERE and check out Med doing a handstand. He posted that magnificent picture I took of him doing it. HA!
